Get going with Google Adwords by Chandler Nguyen

Halo all,

Finally the ebook is here. This ebook was written back in early 2010 and primarily focused on newbies to Adwords. If you are an advanced Adwords Advertiser, this ebook is not for you.
In this ebook, i covered most of the basics like: keyword research, how to sign up an account with Google, creating your first campaign, writing ad copies, reporting etc…

Two examples were used through out the book to demonstrate important concepts.
Please note that Google change the interface quite regularly so if you follow certain steps and find out that they are not as the online Adwords system anymore, please follow Google’s intructions.

Without any further delay, here is the link to download “Get going with Google Adwords“.

Any comments/evaluations are welcome.

Thanks,
Chandler

  1. I plan on getting this book but am wondering if it is already irrelevant since Google changes it's adwords so frequenly. For example the content network doesn't seem to be there but instead they have a display network.

  2. Hey mate,

The editing process took quite some time hence it's true that part of the book is already irrelevant. Google made lots of changes for the reporting interface i.e. the reporting tab is no longer useable.

I would say that since Google changes their Adwords interface quite frequently, if you are looking for a book that show you how to do it with the current interface, this ebook is not for you.

No matter how Google changes their interface though, the concepts behind remain unchanged from the time i wrote this book. Keyword research, which is the basic and one of the most important concept is still valid. Same with ad copy and how you should organize your campaign in order.

Google Content Network or Google Display network are the same thing, they just changed the name. It's still a network of partner sites that allow Advertisers (through Google Adwords platform) to put ads in text, banner, video etc… on their sites to increase reach.
