Highly recommended “Quiet the power of Introverts” by Susan Cain

I stumbled upon the book “Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking” by Susan Cain a few weeks back and immediately found it hard to stop reading it.

She explores the concept of introvert and extrovert through the lenses of history, biology, neurology and culture. This is a well researched book, with strong narrative and evidence. She not only shares real life examples to build her case, but also blend various researches from respected universities, professors.

Whether you want to learn more about yourself or how to understand and raise your “shy” children in a better way or to be a better team leader, this book has valuable insights to learn from.

One of the most important takeaways from Susan is “a sense of entitlement to be yourself”.

I hope you would enjoy the book as much as I do.

Have a great weekend,

Chandler
